Inverter Settings

Inverters have specific settings that are not included on the CEC database nor in the OND file. These include:

• MPPT Number: Number of Maximum Power Point Trackers that this inverter has
• Number of Strings: Minimum, maximum, and target number of strings for that inverter (or CB)
• AC Disconnect: True if the inverter does not have a built-in AC Disconnect

If you have a central inverter you will also have:

• Number of Combiners: Number of combiners for that inverter

All of this information can be found in the inverter cutsheet. When you enter it in engineering mode, you will have the option to save this setting. Once saved, the setting will auto-populate for any future use of that inverter in engineering mode.

You can deviate from the settings as needed. When deviating you can always reset to the setting or update the setting to come into accordance with this change.
