Engineering templates
Engineering templates allow you to create preset equipment configurations that can be applied when entering engineering mode on new projects. They contain settings for wire size and type, panelboards, switchboards, DAS provider, and grid equipment. Templates can also include SCADA, pole layout, and transformer information as needed.
For the grid section, only the specific settings are used for the type of interconnection. For Example: Transformer and pole settings will not be used for BTM applications, only for ground mount interconnections.
Creating engineering templates
To create an engineering template, go to Engineering Templates (opens in a new tab), click "+ Template", and then follow the steps. For more information about what the fields mean, see the definitions page.
Updating engineering templates
To update an engineering template, click on the row or select the checkbox and then click "Edit."
Duplicating engineering templates
To duplicate an engineering template, click the checkbox for the template, and click "Duplicate."
Deleting engineering templates
To delete an engineering template, click the checkbox, then "Delete."
