Consumption offset report

To generate a consumption offset report in Solesca, click the export button in the upper-right, then "Report". This will open a dialogue box. In it, please select "Consumption offset • net metering".

This report assumes that your system is net-metered. We compare gross monthly and yearly values against your entered monthly values. This is not applicable for systems that are subject to hourly or time-of-use (TOU) rates.

Monthly consumption data

First you will enter the monthly consumption data. Each month, please enter the kWh of consumption for this building.

After entering the consumption data you can generate a report. This will create a one-page consumption offset report.

We will save this data at the design level, you will not have to re-eneter this data whenever you generate this report.

Yearly offset data

You can toggle on lifetime energy options to generate a second page. This lifetime section allows you to use our lifetime model with your input degradation and the field unavailability to project the 8760 to the lifetime of the asset. You can select a consumption adder to model an increased consumption of your building over the lifetime of the solar asset as well.

We then compare the yearly energy data and consumption data to display how the solar offsets the energy over the lifetime of the project.
